Ordering & Operations

Enable order types, configure operating hours, set up delivery, and manage incoming orders.

1

Enable Order Types

Go to "Settings" and find the "Feature Settings" section. Here you can enable or disable different order types: Pickup (customers collect their order), Dine-In (customers order at the table via QR code), and Delivery (orders delivered to the customer). Enable at least one order type to start accepting orders.

Pro Tip

Start with Pickup — it's the simplest to set up. You can add Dine-In and Delivery later.

2

Set Up Operating Hours

Navigate to "Operating Hours" in the sidebar. Set your venue's weekly schedule — which days you're open and your opening/closing times. You can add multiple time slots per day (e.g., 11:00-15:00 for lunch, 18:00-23:00 for dinner). Add special hours for holidays or events when your schedule differs from the regular one.

Pro Tip

If you enable "Enforce Work Hours" in settings, customers can only place orders during your operating hours. Otherwise, they can order anytime.

3

Configure Delivery Settings

If you enabled delivery, go to Settings and fill in the delivery area description. This tells customers where you deliver. You can describe your delivery zone (e.g., "Within 5km of the restaurant" or "Central London area"). Set delivery fees and minimum order amounts as needed.

4

Set Up Order Notifications

In Settings, scroll to the "Order Notifications" section. Enter an admin email address — you'll receive email notifications for every new order. You can also enable Web Push notifications to get real-time alerts in your browser, even when the admin panel is in the background.

Pro Tip

Web Push notifications are instant and don't require you to keep your email open. Enable both for maximum reliability.

5

Manage Incoming Orders

Once orders start coming in, navigate to "Orders" in the sidebar. You'll see all orders with their status, type, and total. Click any order to view details and update its status: Pending → Confirmed → Preparing → Ready → Completed. For delivery orders, you can also mark them as Out for Delivery.

Pro Tip

Keep the Orders page open during service hours. Orders update in real-time, so you'll see new orders appear instantly.
