Schedule & Operating Hours

Control when your menu is available. Set venue hours, create named schedules for breakfast or happy hour, and automate product visibility by time of day.

What Is Schedule Management?

Schedule management lets you define when your venue is open, when specific products or categories are available, and when promotions are active. Set default operating hours, create named schedules like 'Breakfast Menu' or 'Happy Hour', and assign them to products, categories, or promo codes.

The system supports multiple time slots per day (for split shifts), special hours for holidays and events, and date-range validity periods. Customers automatically see only what is currently available, and scheduled orders respect your operating hours.

Why Schedule Management Matters

Automatic Menu Transitions

Breakfast items appear in the morning and disappear at lunch. No manual switching required.

Holiday Management

Set special hours or closures for holidays, events, and seasonal changes.

Split Shift Support

Define multiple time slots per day - open for lunch, closed mid-afternoon, open again for dinner.

Reduce Customer Confusion

Customers only see items available right now. No ordering items from a menu that is not currently served.

How It Works

1

Set Default Hours

Define your venue's default operating hours for each day of the week. This is when customers can place orders.

2

Create Named Schedules

Create schedules like 'Breakfast', 'Lunch', 'Happy Hour' with their own time slots.

3

Assign to Content

Link schedules to products, categories, or promo codes. They become visible only during the scheduled times.

4

Handle Exceptions

Add special hours for holidays, events, or seasonal changes. Special hours override regular schedules.

Schedule Use Cases

Breakfast Menu

Show breakfast items from 7:00 to 11:00 only. They disappear automatically when lunch starts.

Happy Hour

Activate drink specials and promotional prices from 16:00 to 18:00 every weekday.

Weekend Brunch

Special brunch category visible only on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00.

Holiday Closure

Mark Christmas Day and New Year's as closed. Customers see 'closed' instead of the menu.

Seasonal Items

Set validity dates for seasonal products - available from December 1 to February 28.

Split Shifts

Open 11:00-15:00 for lunch, closed mid-afternoon, reopen 18:00-23:00 for dinner.

Automate Your Restaurant Schedule

Manual menu switching is time-consuming and error-prone. Staff forget to swap menus, customers see unavailable items, and special hours get missed. Automated schedule management eliminates these problems entirely.

Time-Based Menu Control

Different times of day call for different menus. Breakfast items in the morning, lunch specials at noon, dinner entrees in the evening. Schedule management automates these transitions so your menu always shows what is currently available.

Holiday & Event Management

Set special hours weeks in advance. Christmas closures, New Year's reduced hours, special event schedules - all defined once and applied automatically. No last-minute rush to update your menu or hours.

Promotional Timing

Link promotions to schedules for precise timing. Happy Hour discounts activate and deactivate automatically. Weekend specials only appear on Saturday and Sunday. No manual intervention means no missed activations.
