Create promotions, set up multi-language support, manage allergens, and connect your POS system.
Navigate to "Promo Codes" in the sidebar. Click "New Promo Code" and configure your promotion: set a code (e.g., "WELCOME10"), discount type (percentage or fixed amount), discount value, and optional restrictions like minimum order amount or expiration date. Share promo codes with customers to drive orders.
A welcome discount (e.g., 10% off first order) is a great way to encourage new customers to try online ordering.
Go to Settings and find the "Languages" section. Select your primary language and add additional supported languages. Then navigate to "Translations" in the sidebar to translate your product names, descriptions, and categories. You can translate items one by one or use the CSV export/import feature for bulk translations.
Use the CSV export/import for efficient bulk translation. Export generates a spreadsheet with all untranslated items that you can fill in and import back.
Navigate to "Allergens" in the sidebar. The system comes with standard allergen types pre-configured (gluten, dairy, nuts, etc.). When editing products, you can assign relevant allergens to each item. Customers can then filter your menu by allergens to find safe options.
Allergen information builds trust and is legally required in many regions. Take time to accurately tag all products.
If you use a POS system, go to "Integrations" to connect it. Reservation.Tools Orders currently supports Barsy POS integration via webhooks. Once connected, online orders are automatically sent to your POS system, appearing alongside walk-in orders for seamless kitchen management.
